  1. As you are a former member, leadership and recruiters had a discussion about whether to let your application through the whole process.

We've decided not to allow it mainly due to the lack of effort in your application. You've copied and pasted a majority of your application from your past applications for us. When it is paired with the fact that you were only in DoA for a month last time, it does give off a bad impression to current members and leadership.

I'm declining this application on behalf of the recruitment staff. If you want a chance at being accepted, try changing up your application more. I'm not asking for new info (as a matter of fact, you could probably get away with typing a little bit less), but just type it out fresh. That way, we know you're actually putting effort into it (as a lot of your wording and phrasing would likely be different).

You're free to try again in a month if applications are open by that time.

  2. Since you are a former member (and I'm not sure I'd say it was on good terms), leadership did have a discussion about whether to allow your application through the whole process.

We have decided not to allow it through. 2 of the most notable reasons involve behavior and your application in general.

I can't say you left on a good note because of the issues during clanwars. You were nice on discord and stuff. However, if you're bad in situations where you're actually representing us, I'm really not sure what to think of that. Since you're applying for a position where your behavior does need to be good, I question whether you fit that. You haven't shown leadership anything that shows you would fit that.

Some of us also think you didn't put much effort into your application. You probably should have tried to make more of an argument for why you should be accepted back in as well. As I said, some of us did get a bad impression of you before you left.

I'm declining your application on behalf of leadership. I know it might be difficult to show leaders you've possibly changed. You're likely going to have to do that first before you have any chance of joining again though.

I'm gonna say wait a month before trying again.

  3. Hey. Thanks for making an application. A little surprised tbh. I don't have any "aggressive and sarcastic questions" to ask, but I do have some stuff I want cleared up at least. I think it'd be important.

V:: and V://, best clan lol. Just literally closed, very unexpectedly.

I think I'd like some stuff cleared up about this first. The announcement divi made is a little vague imo. He just mentioned that the project is cancelled. Is the clan itself actually closed? Or is it simply not a mta clan anymore, but involved in other games? or what's up? I think this is important to clear up because it can create problems for you and us down the line depending on what's going on. I'm simply asking this because you're still listed as a staff member on their discord server.

    I know a little coding, I guess.

When I see people mention stuff like this, I usually do ask about it. What exactly is your status with this sort of stuff? Like how long have you been learning it? Also, which languages do you have some knowledge with?

Nothing else I really have to ask. Good luck!

  4. Hello.. Thanks for taking the time to make an application. However, I just got one thing I'd want answered if you could take the time to do that.

I noticed that you don't really list a time table for anything. You didn't list when you were in those clans. You also didn't list when you started mta or anything like that.

Do you think you could clear up some of that for me? I think it can be info that's important to know when considering applicants.

  5. Alright, so I'm gonna tear this apart bit by bit. I don't really agree with everything here in some sense because we still do have limits with what we can do even with help.

Removing Infernus mods/parts in the arenaI think everyone would more likely want to play clanwars with their stock Infernus than to play with a modded Infernus because some parts can be distracting, might cover parts of the track etc.

And one last thing, the camera on Infernus. I think it can affect players' performance and should be changed asap.

We're not exactly sure how to fix the camera with the infernus mod tbh. NoHear is the one that made the infernus mod. Apparently, he also doesn't know how to fix this camera issue.

However, there was something done about it in the cw arena. The cw arena won't use the infernus mod (it'll just be the default infernus). Therefore, the camera is normal in that arena. The only thing I noticed it keeping in the arena is the vehicle color.

/join command kicks to lobby. It does kick when a nonexistent room is entered (e.g. /join 1, that arena [1] doesn't exist), but I think it would be just better to ignore the mistake in command output or just to output a text into chatbox saying something like 'That arena doesn't exist!'

I'll do what I can to see if this can get done. It makes sense to make that change. Even in early testing, we kept putting /join in by mistake.

Ability to toggle radar/minimap on/off. I don't think this feature is still available at our server, but it would be useful to have it since we have a few players who get bugged by the radar's presence.

It was already on the server. It's f9 to toggle the radar.

    12 hours ago, Backflip said:

Only one spawn available per map. This could be an unfair advantage, and could be fixed with a script (DDC has the script enabled I think). Also, I think it would be a big task to remove all spawns on all maps on the server just to leave out one per map (though if it's a must, I can maybe do it for cws and then return the maps to their primary state after said cws).

Disable respawn script in the arena. Totally unnecessary in my opinion. Also, it could confuse the referees spectating if someone that is dead respawns and races next to an alive player.

Disable invisible objects script during cws. This should be straightforward, I think this is a standard procedure for clanwars by now, and we can still enable it in the arena.

All these things have been done (to a certain degree which I'll explain below). I just hope you guys won't regret it bc it's probably not gonna be changed back.

    - We don't have something like the ddc script, but the spawn system is changed for the cw arena. Everybody just spawns at the 1st spawnpoint now, and you can't change your spawnpoint in there.
    - It's done, but your reasoning made no sense for the respawn script. As far as I know, nobody can see you in training mode (and you can't interfere with others either).
    - This one is just gone. You can't change it at all in the cw arena now. I'm guessing it would've been too much of a hassle to implement it in the way you wanted.

    12 hours ago, Backflip said:

Userpanel access. Though maps can't be bought inside the CW arena, it still might bug a few people and I just think it shouldn't be accessible inside the arena at all.

Clanwar HUD restarting every time a team is created. Maybe teams should just get created before players arrive but even if a few bugs occurred, all players would have to rejoin their teams as if the script was restarted. Also, when a new team is created, the previous one just becomes invisible and players would have to join again (e.g. if team 2 is newly created team, team 1 would get wiped off the HUD).

Next map starts automatically when everyone dies. I don't know if this is done on purpose, but it could create confusion and unnecessary waiting for the players. Referees can just add points for the map that was finished during the following map.

Points in chatbox. Maybe I'm just picky idk. When they are added, they look like:
    [WFF] .:DoA:.Wolfer added points: .:DoA:.Wolfer (3), DoAShaNe (2), DoA|^Backflip (1), DoA|^Backflip (1)
but in my opinion should look like:
    [WFF] .:DoA:.Wolfer added points:
    .:DoA:.Wolfer (3),
    DoAShaNe (2),
    DoA|^Backflip (1),
    DoA|^Backflip (1)

Remove points and money stats from the scoreboard in arena.

    - Userpanel suggestion is kinda nitpicky. Unless there's a bug involved with this, it's really not something that needs addressed tbh.
    - CW hud suggestion isn't that much of an issue. Just confirm with teams that the info is correct before letting them join.
    - I think there needs to be some sort of buffer somewhere in between maps. I'd personally prefer it to be involved with manually starting the countdown, but I'm not sure this will be changed. I think this might've been requested by ludi or myself.
    - This points messages suggestion is a bit nitpicky too. If it bothers a lot of people, I can see about getting it changed. I don't really think this is something that matters though.
    - Removing that stuff from the scoreboard isn't all that necessary either. Actually, some cw stats are put on the scoreboard. If we're playing wff, the points tab is supposed to show the amount of points you've earned in the cw.

If I missed something, feel free to let me know.

  6. Back at it again with another feat. request. It's a similar story as the other one. This one has been kinda sitting for a few years. I don't really have any new ideas for it when it comes to the track. Basically, I want someone to finish the track and work on some deco. Once the track is finished, I could probably help with deco too.

Once the last infernus part starts, you can do whatever you want with it (that carshade bit I made is kinda terrible imo). You're free to edit the spawn area too.

If you want to work on this one, just contact me on discord (Wolf_Pack#5698) or reply here.

  7. Hello. 5 years ago. I started on a DM map with 0L1V3R. We started on about 30 seconds of the map in one session (or maybe 2). Then, we never worked on it again. Since I see no chance of either of us finishing it, I was wanting to see if anybody wanted to take it off our hands. It really doesn't matter to me what you do with it. However, just do at least 3 things if you decide to do it.

    1) Leave spawn deco in tact. Feel free to even add to it, but it would be awesome if nothing was removed deco-wise.
    2) If you could, put your name somewhere in the map with deco and 0L1V3R's name too. Mine was done at spawn, it'd be cool to everyone else's names in it too.
    3) Keep it DM. It was intended to be for DM, not OS.
    4) Make sure you finish it if you say you're interested in doing it. It doesn't matter to me how long it takes.

Okay so here's the map. Don't mind the video quality. Also, don't mind the audio (I was just messing around and put a whole bunch of music together xd)

If you decide to take it on, leave a reply or message me on discord. I'm on the DoA Discord server. Please grace us with your mapping, someone.

I think you should've at least tried to answer this (even if it wouldn't be an original answer) since you didn't put much info in your other questions.

I think you should take some time to add some more info to your application. If you're not sure what to put into your application, feel free to message me on Discord. You can find me on DoA's discord server.

I'll probably check your application again in 3 or 4 days. If it still seems kinda vague, it'll be declined.

  9. Since it wasn't mentioned in the announcement, I'll post the responses here. No applications are being accepted from the most recent batch.

Voting polls for your join request showed that not many people know you well enough to vote, so your poll mainly had neutral votes.

Therefore, your join request is being denied. You're free to post another join request in a month. If you do that, I suggest trying to talk to some of our member first.

  11. Since it wasn't mentioned in the announcement, I'll post the responses here. No applications are being accepted from the most recent batch.

Voting polls for your join request were all negative and neutral. Considering what I privately talked to you about a few days back, we're probably going to be more harsh on shooter applicants as they are applying for community member spots (which basically means we're looking at your behavior and prior behavior the most). It'll be harsh because there's not too many kind people in the shooter community. We've learned this from people we've faced in clanwars as well as some members that we have accepted within the past several months.

Due to the negative and neutral votes, your join request is being denied. You're free to post another join request in a month. You're not blacklisted. That was just a warning on your previous join request.

😄 😄 😄 Can you prove that channel is my youtube channel?

You've done absolutely nothing to show us that it isn't your channel. It feels like you're not even trying too hard to defend yourself.

Do you just like to let people tarnish your name or what?

I had suggested to recruiters that we hold off on a decision for your application until the next stage of our process, but I've changed my mind.

I'm declining this join request. You're free to make another join request in 2 months.

However, I'd suggest trying to prove that you didn't actually do what everyone here is claiming. If you did do it, maybe man up and apologize. You're making things worse on yourself if you're lying about it.

  13. Hello. Thanks for taking the time make your join request, and sorry for the late response. I'll start by going into the poll results. Then, I'll say my thoughts.

You had a positive poll result overall. Most of our members were saying that you could be a potentially good member to add to our DM squad. We've been trying to build up a DM squad, so that sounds somewhat nice.

However, I'm not convinced that you're ready to be joining any clan at the moment. Over the past couple months, you've given off the impression that you can't take responsibility for your actions. The report over at DDC was a good example of that. I'm not gonna get into the whole racism issue (even though the proof was bad enough), but the way you behaved during the report was immature.

Tbh, I'm not sure whether or not you're racist (bc I don't know you), but this isn't stuff I can ignore. Therefore, I'm declining this application.

You're welcome to apply again in 2 months if you think you've improved in that time.

  14. Going to put these on hold for now (although they've kinda been on hold already as I've been a little busy and haven't honored most of the requests so far). Once some of these matches are played, challenges will be reopened.

In the meantime, I'm going to try to find a more ideal environment for these matches. While I doubt the people helping me (specifically @LudiSincba) had any problems with it, I would prefer to have these matches on a server where I have complete control to upload/remove things. That way, I don't have to bother people for my personal type of events like this.

  15. Hey. Thanks for taking the time to make a join request. However, I think there’s one part of your jr where I need a bit more info.

  19. DM/WFF Match Rules

All matches will be played on a DoA server unless otherwise specified.

All matches will consist of 10 rounds with 10 different maps.
(Refer to Map List Topic and Challenge Topic)

If there is a draw after 10 rounds, we replay the map list until one player is 2 points ahead.
(Or until 20 rounds, whichever is quicker)

If there is a draw after 20 rounds, the match results in a draw.

No shortcuts & no superjumps. Small cuts may be permitted. Always best to ask the referee first.
(1st time offense: Opponent gets point, 2nd time offense: DQ)

Skipping vehicle pickups is not allowed but skipping nos/repair pickups is allowed.

Driving backwards parts forward is allowed.

Driving on roof parts is also allowed.

No mods/cheats which improve your gameplay.
(If you’re caught using them, you’ll be blacklisted from this and all other DoA events.)

Timing out before the map starts will result in a free round.
(This may also extend a little into the map as well.)

If a player times out after 30 seconds has passed into the map, the opposing player receives the point.

For WFF only, 1 point is awarded to the player that reaches hunter first.
(If no one reaches hunter, no one is awarded a point)

For DM Only, the point goes to the last survivor if there is a hunter fight.
(If no one reaches hunter, point goes to the person that got the farthest into the map)

The match ends once a clear winner is determined.
(i.e. One player earning 6 points after 6 maps, 2 points after 9 maps, etc.)

A player can forfeit after 3 maps.

Any additional rules can be discussed later.

    ---

    Shooter Match Rules
(Shooter Matches are on hold for the time being)

All matches will be played the DoA Events Server unless otherwise specified.

All matches will consist of 10 rounds with 2 different maps.
    (Refer to Challenge Topic)
(Both maps play 5 times in a row)

If there is a draw after 10 rounds, we replay the map list until one player is 2 points ahead.
(We’ll play both maps back to back until the match is over)

If there is a draw after 20 rounds, the match results in a draw.

1 point is awarded to the survivor.

If no one survives, no one gets a point.
(If you kill someone and you die in the process, no point gets rewarded)
(In other words, you need to not have 0 health to win a round)
(In other words too, do not enter until I say you have the point)

The match ends once a clear winner is determined.
(i.e. One player earning 6 points after 6 maps, 2 points after 9 maps, etc.)

A player can forfeit after 3 maps.

Any additional rules can be discussed later.

  20. The challenge format is at the bottom of the post, but I suggest trying to read the rest of this information first.

(or at least read the bold text)

    Challenge Requests

    General

    - Follow the format. If you don't answer all the questions, I can't accept the challenge obviously.

    - To get your serial number, you go to the console (press f8 or sometimes ~) and type serial. Copy and paste it in your challenge post.

    - For now, these will be challenges for WFF and DM. Shooter is on hold for now.

    - If your challenge is accepted, I’ll contact you when it is your turn. I'll also modify your post.

    - I accept challenges in the order in which I get them.

    - Since prizes may be involved, you can only have one match with me every 2 months. This may change depending on the number of challengers I get.

    Map choice Info

    - WFF/DM: You have the option to choose 1 map out of the 10 maps played. You’ll know 8 of the other maps because they’ll be listed in the map list topic.

Shooter: You have the option to choose 1 map out of the 2 maps played.

    -  You have the option of whether we play your choice first or last during the match. My choice will plug the other spot.

    - WFF/DM: Map choice can be any type of DM map (HDM, DM, OS, OLD, etc) as long as it has a hunter.

    - Your choice needs to be something that can be accepted on our server. I’ll let you know if it isn’t.

    - Match will be cancelled if a valid map choice isn't decided on at least a day before our match.

    Time/Map Availability

    - I'll contact you whenever I find a date/time in my availability that matches yours.

    - You can send the challenge request by replying to this topic. You can also DM me on Discord.

    - If you choose a map, it might be best to choose a map on our server. I can always ask ludi if has maps if it’s not on the server. Outside of that, I don’t really have time to map hunt if neither of us has the map.

    - If you're wanting to play a map that isn't on the server, you should try to help us get it. That's the only other way it'll be possible to play.

    - The last bullet in Map Choice Info mentions what will happen if you fail to provide a map.

    Prizes

    - Prizes will be awarded at random times if you manage to complete certain tasks during the match.

    - These tasks will remain a secret, but I’ll let you know when you get them.

    - Once a task becomes public, other players can still get it (unless I eventually say otherwise), but the prize may not be worth as much.

    - I will only award one task per match.

    - Prizes could be stuff such in-game money, donator status, or other prizes that may have nothing to do with the server.

    ---

Here's the format I'd prefer you guys go by. It makes it easier to see that everything needed is here.

    --

    Nickname

    Gamemode (WFF or Shooter)

    Serial

    Discord/Skype/Forum PM/etc.

    Time slot choice

Do you have your map choice? If it isn't on our server, do you have a way to get it?
(You can just say yes. I'll contact you about your choice later.)

  21. Hey guys!

I thought I would try this again. I originally tried something similar before (which resulted in the 1v1-me channel that has its moments of activity on discord), but I’d like to stray away from that a little bit. Consider this the intro topic to another version of the 1v1-me events.

You don’t really need to read the whole thing if you don’t want to do it. You could get the idea of what I’m doing just by reading the bold text.

I had a goal in mind when I made it. I mostly wanted the chance to challenge more players competitively since I don’t really play too much in clanwars. I also wanted to actively have matches. However, I feel it didn’t really work out that way.

Since we made it more into a general thing, I didn’t get very many challengers. As a matter of fact, I think I only played against people within DoA. While that isn’t a bad thing, it was kinda depressing considering it could also be used as a way to get to know DoA members for those who weren’t well known. It may be kinda selfish, but I’m making this an event for me specifically to get challengers. I want a way to improve my in-game skills a little bit.

I feel like it was a bit difficult to get these set up as well. This was mainly due to setting matches up at random times (which can make it difficult to find someone to referee and record/type stats), and the staff always had to collect different maps for every match. For this event, I’d like to have a set time and a mostly set map list for this event (while it may change based on whatever maps I have in my possession). However, I’ll fill people in on this in another topic.

I also feel like there wasn’t enough motivation for these types of events either. For the 1v1-me type matches, there really isn’t any sort of prize. However, I’d like to introduce prizes every now and again for this specific event as a way to say thanks. I can’t say what the prizes will be yet (bc they’ll likely be random prizes at random times), but I hope something like this would give a little more motivation at least. Those prizes may be based on certain statistics which I’ll make a topic for later (once there are actually statistics).

That’s honestly all I have to say about it at the moment. I hope to play against a good bit of people. All important info regarding this event will be placed in a Rules Topic and the Challenge Topic.
